The Goddess of Love versus the Siren of Nature

Aino Minako and Kino Makoto are two of the most beloved Senshi. They are bright, spirited, and partners in boy-hunt. It is easily seen that the two are close. But no matter how close their relationship may be, fans still find ways to pit them against each other...

The Most Powerful. The quarrels over this topic wear my mind, but still this has not kept me from forming an opinion. Fans argue that Sailorvenus's days as SailorV have given her an edge and, thus, making her more powerful. Other fans counter with the fact that Sailorjupiter's striking aura and element of electricity make her the more powerful. I find both to be true.

Lightning does seem to be a stronger weapon than gold hearts. And, according to the Senshi power charts at Sailormoon CyberCity, Sailorjupiter's Oak Evolution has proven a more accurate and harsher blow than Sailorvenus's Love and Beauty Shock. Sailorjupiter's extreme physical strength is also grounds for the belief that she is the stronger of the two.

Sailorvenus has undoubtedly had more fighting experience than any of the Inner Senshi, including Sailormoon. Having a whole year fighting alone as SailorV has definitely given her an upper hand. It would be accurate to say that Sailorvenus has more experience fighting, but as to battling as a team, Sailorvenus's experience goes no further than Sailorjupiter's.

This statement should not be misinterpreted to mean that Sailorvenus is not more skilled. Indeed she is as far as combat goes. Fighting with a team is another matter entirely. When alone as SailorV, she could make all the decisions and take all the glory. As a part of the Inner Senshi, Sailorvenus must learn to balance her character with those of the others', a trying task at times. This is also not to say that she has proven a bad member of the team. Indeed, Sailorvenus has shown her exceptional skills.

But back to the arguement, who is more powerful? In my honest opinion, dear reader, Sailorvenus is more experienced and Sailorjupiter is more powerful.

In Conclusion. Is there really an end to conclude? What has this quarrel come to? Is the prettiest, strongest, coolest Senshi Minako or Makoto? Can Thunder be called better than Beauty or vise versa? Upon my reckonings I would have to say that there is no real end to this battle. Both girls have their strengths and weaknesses. Both are beautiful, powerful, and interesting in their own ways. So what right do we have to judge them for it?

Don't agree? Well, that's life. Arguing these points leads nowhere, so please don't send flames. This is simply a matter of opinion. Although Jupiter is my favorite senshi, I tried not to be biased in subjects. I apologize if somethings sounded that way.
